Devilbiss nozzle for the AGMD PRO CONVENTIONAL automatic spray gun
To achieve a consistent result when painting with the aid of compressed air, the amount of paint, air pressure and paint nozzle must be well coordinated.
A technically perfect condition of all components is an indispensable prerequisite for an optimal color result.
This also includes a fully functional paint nozzle.
Spray gun nozzles ensure the correct flow of compressed air. The air flowing past is compressed at the narrowest point of the nozzle, the opening or nozzle cap. This creates a negative pressure in the area of the nozzle opening. The hole with the needle is also located in this part of the spray gun.
When the trigger is pulled, the needle retracts and the color material can exit through the opening that has now been created in the bore along the needle.
The existing negative pressure sucks the paint from the needle and transports it to the outside via the air flow through the nozzle cap. If these areas of the spray gun are not appropriately combined or poorly adjusted, undesired air or paint turbulence can occur, which prevents a successful painting result.
