The MPV-496 protects against organic and inorganic vapours, acid, ammonia and its derivatives, fine solid particles, liquids and aerosols.

The DeVilbiss Freedom mask with A2 filter cartridges can therefore be used in areas of contamination up to 10 x the Occupational Exposure levels set by the Health and Safety Executive.  A2 filters are for use against organic vapours with boiling points above 650°C.. Suitable for use with cellulose paints, primers, lacquers and varnishes but not suitable for use with Isocyanates. Assigned Protection Factor of 10.
